This Southern Highland market is a wonderful local market with live music, artisans plants bric a brac , delicious food, coffee and much more. Stop off on the way to Burrawang, Robertson, Berrima or any of the other villages in the Highlands
The March 2023 market which normally falls on the third Sunday of the month will actually be held on Good Friday for some special Easter Markets.
Visit the quaint and beautiful village of Exeter only 8-10 mins drive from Moss Manor, the busy and bustling Exeter Village Market has a delightful mix of handmade goods and treats, homewares, fashion and fresh produce. Add in a bit of bric-a-brac with a beautiful village backdrop and you have the quintessential country market experience.
About 15 mins drive from Moss Manor through the gorgeous villages of Exeter and Bundanoon these lovely local markets are held at the local primary school. Bundanoon Makers Market celebrates the skills of talented creative locals. From soap to scarves, clothes to cakes, and a special kids market for young entrepreneurs on specific dates, there is something for everyone here.
One of the busiest in The Highlands and now permanently in it's new home at the local bowlo, this market has a range of clothes, toys, plants, sculptures and handmade goodies to keep the keenest of shoppers on their retail toes. With lots of food on offer too, you can fill up your belly with gozleme or dumplings, or kick back with a croissant and delicious coffee in the sun.
About 15 mins drive through the bucolic Southern Highlands, Treasure hunters and bargain hunters will be in their element at Robertson Markets. From bric-a-brac through to homemade baked goods, local candles and plants, Robertson offers up a quaint market experience in a country environment. Why not make it a day trip and visit Moonacres café, the wonderful Jennings Kerr Art Gallery, Cheese factory and local shops. Then a drive through the bucolic countryside to Burrawang, perhaps have a meal at the iconic Burrawang General Store or Burrawang Pub and then back to Robertson for a wine and cheese platter at the gorgeous Pecora Dairy next to the Robo Pub. Or maybe wend your way back to Moss Manor and relax for the evening with a wine and charcuterie platter. Sounds wonderful!!
About 30 mins drive through Fitzroy Falls and down the very beautiful mountain to the stunning village of Kangaroo Valley. Supporting local growers and makers with a strong emphasis on sustainability, the markets are run by the Friendly Inn Community Garden Committee. A great place to stock up on pantry staples, fresh produce and grab a unique gift. After the Southern Higland markets wander through the town soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of the this wonderful little town.
A definite favourite with local green thumbs, Mittagong Markets has a huge range of plants, garden art and outdoor sculptures available. Also great for bric a brac and gift shopping as well as plenty of delicious home baked treats to tantalise tastebuds.
A busy market with a buzzy vibe, Berrima has lots to keep all ages occupied. Kids entertainment, live music and delicious food options provide the perfect backdrop for a large range of stalls, produce, goodies and gifts. The perfect opportunity to combine with a stroll through the historic village of Berrima. With so much to offer in way of art galleries, stores, pubs, restaurants and cafes. This Southern Highland market is a perfect market to enjoy.
