The Southern Highlands of New South Wales is one of Australia’s newest cool climatewine regions, producing award winning premium wines and Cherry Tree Hill Vineyard in Sutton Forest is one of the best. The Lorentz family have owned and run the property for over 30 years now and have been producing grapes since 2003. Having won a number of medals both here and OS. We love Cherry Tree Hill and it is only 10 mins drive from Moss Manor. Book in for a wine tasting and light lunch, visit the cellar door and take home the sensational “Diana” chardonnay or “Dave” Cabernet Merlot . Definitely worth a visit.
Only 10 mins drive from Moss Manor, Dawning Day Wines in beautiful Exeter have some stunning and unusual wines. Run by Dave and Katrina Archer the cellar door is housed in a lovely new barn. We Highly recommend booking for a wine tasting and lovely grazing platter. Dave and Katrina give 10% of profits to charity. A local winery not to be missed.
Artemis Wines is family run by seventh generation winemakers Anton and Mark Balog who began making wine in the Southern Highlands in 1996. They were the third winery and the first winemakers to plant Pinot Noir in the region. The Artemis Distillery was constructed over the last decade and produces a unique range of premium spirits. The Artemis philosophy draws on the Natural Elements blending old and new winemaking and viticulture techniques.
